    Fabs:

Very nice colors in the bird. I really have to work on my glossies, I never seem to get their colors to pop. Reminds me of a water color painting. The branch in front of the bill is just a bit distracting, but overall the background is very attractive.

Lana, thanks. My return to Canon lasted two days. Alfred is back to it, for economic reasons, Nikon lenses are so much more expensive than Canon.
My morning with the Mark III had a deja-vu flavor :(

The colors are gorgeous and a nice, soft background. Not much else to say but a real beauty.

The color and detail of the dorsal wind surfaces are amazing and the image is very sharp. That too is amazing as the camera does not focus and the photographer hates the camera. You gotta love that.

Great pose, colors and soft light. Another vote for removing the branch in front of the bill.

    Hi Fabs,
Bummer I wasn't able to get down to you and Al this time out:(.....man.....what a topside view!!! I too vote for the removal......but it's minor to the image. Now I have another thing on the list I have to try for! Very nicely done!
