    Default Heron in flight

    Hi all,

Having just got my Canon MK3 back for the latest AF recall adjustment, I decided to try it out on some Herons during early light. The camera seemed to perform pretty well but not noticeably different to how it behaved before the recall.
I will keep testing on some smaller birds in flight as that will be a tougher test.

    Canon 1DMK3, 300mm, f6.3,1/800 +1.67, ISO400

    C&C welcome.

    Cheers

    Austin

It doesn't get much better than this in pose and sharpness. Light angle could be better but it is so soft it works out. Thanks for sharing this.

Just wondering if the shot would be better if your name was in a smaller size.
