    Default Ray of Light

I photographed this Northern Harrier during a brief window of sunshine on a stormy day.

So sharp it looks like flash. Killer black cloud. Perfect wing position. Not too shabby.

The slate gray background contributes to the Harrier really popping out at you. I like the subtle looking at you glance as well. Nice details and well exposed. Thats some pretty cool light behind you considering what you were looking at.

Bird is gorgeous, but for me, it's the steely gray background that sets this image apart.

Wow, what great timing, the light and bg are gorgeous, super. Did you run any NR on this shot?

Hi Art. Thanks for the kind words. In answer to your question, I run NR on all of my photos, but I usually limit the NR to the BG only.

Super sharp and great exposure. I would like some space at the bottom cause I feel if the wings are down they would be cut off. Still super work well done

Perfect light, wing position and dark background. An image anyone would be proud of. Outstanding work mate! :)
