    Lovely, crazy weird bird. Wonderful image. Love the light, the COMP, and the way that the texture of the water matches the bird's plumage. Big time welcome. Do you know what type of pelican it is?

    The eye could use a bit of work.

    Neat looking bird, can't say I've seen one like it !!! Agree with comments and can only add perhaps a bit more room? It is a lovely image and looking fine from my end !! Big Congrats !!!

    I believe this is the Spot-billed Pelican. As for the eye, a little brighter/clearer would be better?

    Thanks. Still a great bird. The rear/upper half of the eye seems smudged. You can use a quick mask to darken the pupil and another to lighten the iris just a bit. Then you could use a third QM or the Clone Too to reconstruct the rear/upper part of the eye.

    Him TJ, The repost is better. I improved on the eye work a bit and then ran a contrast mask on the eye on the lores and that really perked it up.

    With contrast mask the bird looks more interesting.
