    It was nice getting out for some small birds with Joe and Terry on Sat morning. The BGs turned out better than we thought as the gray sky and the trees mimicked the colors in the female well.

    A fairly large crop here but she was to sweet to delete.

    You are right, she does look sweet. Good classic pose atop the perch. Since you mention this is a large crop you could put a bit of canvas back (more at top and bottom) as I feel the comp a little cramped. The muted BG works very well :-)

    I like the perch, pose, and BG colors and texture Lou. I agree with Daniel about the need for a bit more room. Likely due to the large crop, fine detail is somewhat lacking; I would apply a little more sharpening to the image.

    Great job Lou. Got some nice shots considering the light or lack of it. I too think a bit mor room on top.
