Spring in the west is nearing! This pair of Black-tailed Jackrabbits were "frolicking" in the meadow. This is a quick grab shot through the open car window handheld (only one shot). PP'ed and cropped in ACR and CS3. Too much stuff in front of the action and a bad HA on the right rabbit (female?) but I thought that the behavior out balanced these less than perfect elements:).

Caught in the act! That is adorable-I never saw these type of rabbits before. I agree the action outways the techs- Does remind you that spring is near!

Very cute image, Dan, Too bad the one in the front was facing away.
Image has a strong green cast, here's a color balanced version.

Interesting positioning. Fabiola's rework perfect for removing that green color cast.

    Dan,
The action is interesting. Even though the female has her head slightly turned away, but her big eyes wide open compensate for that. Green cast is already pointed out. Thanks for sharing.

I spent a good portion of my childhood in Sacto. Your picture reminded me of all the fields greening up in the springtime. Would've been nice to get them more in the open but I ubderstand they may have wanted some privacy. I like the fact that most of the broken/bent grasses are pointing the same way as they are.

Just wish you would have had a bit more room on the left side of the frame.....

Great action Dan, I'd prefer a touch more room on the left as well.
