What's Up?:D
this curlew was photographed on tampa bay. one thing i have noticed on my website is that people enjoy pictures with the mouth open or action, rather than just a static portrait. you can have the same bird's portrait processed perfectly and looking great, but people seem to like the others better!
D300, Bigma at 500mm, f/9, 1/640s, 0EV, ISO 400, again had the lens in it's sweet spot with the aperture setting. i maybe should have bumped the ISO for a little more shutter speed, but there wasnt much movement so i was borderline.
simple processing. straightened horizon a little, small crop for composition, set black and white point, selectively sharpened bird, NR on BG, converted to tif, all with CNX2. moved the tif to CS3 and evicted two birds in the bg.
thanks for looking. comments and critiques appreciated.
