Really neat shot Alfred, amazing the amount of growth on that turtle, I like the feet out paddling motion too.

He is a hairy fellow or she is a bearded lady. In any event, I like how you got the water so dark and monotone as that accentuates the turtle all that much more.

The luxuriant algae growth really makes this photo stand out, Alfred. I also like the sharpness and the lack of reflections in the water. Well done.

Now that's cool. I guess this is what's meant by "an old mossback"? :o

    Hi Alfred
Like how the eye is drawn to the colourful turtle's head and natural soft colours.
    A feel good image.
Might have to change your url to Avian & Naturescapes !!!

Cool shot. The slicked back moss imparts a sense of forward motion. I really like the look of the water though. Really gives an impression of floating and depth.

Great shot! Talk about high quality camo. Really looks like a rock, I have never seen a turtle with that much growth on it.
