I hope you're not getting tired of my barn side pictures. I know I'm not!:) There are just so many interesting possibilities! This morning I tried standing on a stepladder and holding the camera up against the side of the barn so it was on the same level as the boards. It was difficult to compose and focus as I couldn't see the LCD screen, but with trial and error I was able to get some decent shots including this one. What do you think?

    Olympus SP-550 UZ
    f3.3 @ 1/800, ISO 100, -0.3 EV
Focal length 7.08 mm, manual focus, aperture priority mode, pattern metering, auto WB
Processed in PS CS2; straightened, cropped, curves adjustment, S/H, applied a slight gaussian blur to the background and foreground, sharpened, converted to monochrome with channel mixer and hue/saturation layer, and used the inner shadow layer style to add a bit of a vignette

Christopher- I love it! I like the interesting perspective! I like the vertical and I like the placement of the strip. This is my favorite of the series!! I know you said you straightened it but my eye gets drawn to the edge of the building any way to adjust that w/o messing up the straight look of the strap? Either way Well done!!

This is definitely the best of the bunch! I like that we now have it in perspective to its environment. You did an excellent job in pp, too...gave it a great focal point and the vignette really works here.

Thanks for the comments! Next time I'll have to take a shot of the whole barn side just to give you an idea of where I'm shooting these from, and I've still got more ideas to try!
