    The red eyes

Taken just before the sunset... light was very low; but I could have done better here :-(

Beautiful bird, pose and BG. The image is taller than the 800 pixels allowance, please repost.

I like the subtle side light and your choice of composition. If you are not going to use text on top, you could crop some off for web presentation. It would help everyone if you include your technical data. We can evaluate and make informed suggestions and members can learn :)

    Big welcome to BPN!

Love the pose, BG, light and perch. Bird look a little dark - have tried a simple levels adjustment masked to the bird to retain the nice dark BG. A little bit of selective work to brighten the shaded part of the iris may also be an option.

Great BG light and exposure. Really nice image. Eye looks a bit soft imo. Still well done

    Santanu,
I like Tony's repost as the original image was darker. However, the The Black shouldered kite have deep red eyes. So would take Ton's repost with the red eyes. Thanks for sharing.
    Cheers,
