I went back in AM with better light and was able to capture this pair. Used my Sony A100 with a Sigma 50-500 lens
on my tripod as low as it could go. The data as follows, f/11, 1/125, +1.0 ev, ISO 100, 360mm, fill flash. All C&C's welcome. Thanks for looking, John

One of my favorite owls. Nice catch getting the pair , but it looks "over processed" to me and the eyes look strange as well. Perhaps over sharpened?? Love the low angle and the great BG.

The owl on the right, does have some strange markings in the eye. It was not touched.

Very interesting, great DOF, they are quite distant from one another. Love the poses, but would like some more room around. We need an eye doctor to explain the eyes.
Maybe you should post the crop of the eye in the ID help Forum and John can help us. I'm intrigued.
