    From the recent trip to San Diego Taken during the IPT Great reflections of those cliffs We lucked out and got the lowest low tide of the year !!!

    Great pose and complementing water colors. I'm wondering if a lower angle would have helped or hurt.

    Alfred, that is a great image and the background is stellar, superb lighting. You left at the right time, we have a big rain coming tonight which may mean some cloudy skies for a day or so after. I was at the cliffs this morning (with my kids, not for photo) and there was not a single bird on the entire bluff, from fence down to the water's edge, at 10:30am. Not one.

    This one is all about that water color. Beautiful, Al. There's one spot, near top corner that I'd make go away.

    Oh Alfred........what a wonderful image. Of course I love the godwit but......the color......it's breathtaking. I don't know if you did anything special to the water but it certainly has an appearance that is so real. Terrific job....and glad you guys are back.

    Wow, looks like its standing in liquid bronze!
