I usually place my full copyright notice watermark on any images I think are worthy before I post them to other websites or distribute them to friends and family. I've noticed on here some have just have a truncated notice or none at all.
I'm just wondering why this is and if the full "(c) ... - All Rights Reserved" is considered to be a bit gauche on this site?
I think it depends on how much space it would take, in other words, whether a full copyright notice plus extra text would be distracting or not. At 800 pixels max. there is not much people could do with the image anyways. But that is just my opinion.
True enough Axel. I'm certainly not worried about anyone here using my stuff. Just wondering if I should save the 30 seconds building a new file to post here by resizing my existing, 50% larger jpgs, which already have the watermark.
