    Hi everyone,
    Here's a Whimbrel landing on the Washington coast from last spring. Cropped for comp and I cloned out the tail feathers of another bird llc.

    Very cool landing pose. Too bad the near wing wasn't more open than it is, but still not bad. I like the included landing base at bottom. As posted you could crop a bit from top just to strenghten the comp. One of the twigs in LLC is fading out mysteriouly into oblivion - perhaps because of some clone work from the tail elimination you did.

    Great details, eye contact, angle and BG. Another vote for a slight crop off the top.

    Thanks guys, I agree with you about cropping a bit from the top, not sure why I didn't consider that.
