    This pretty lady is painted with a Nikon D2x, using a Nikkor 105mm f/2.8 macro lens with a Nikkor 20mm extension tube.

    Image Solution:
    focal length @ 105mm / exposure mode @ aperture priority / in camera matrix metering / 1/125sec. - f/32 / exposure comp @ -0.3EV / ISO @ 200 / white balance @ cloudy / AF - Mode @ manual / color space @ sRGB / lighting solution - Nikon R1C1 wireless close up speedlight system; both light units set to minimum fill flash with a wide dispersal pattern and attached diffuser. / tone comp @ +1 degree / hue adjustment @ +1 degree / saturation factor @ +2 degrees / support platform - tripod assist, with macro focusing rail, and manual trigger release cable /

    Wow! this is a piece of art. Superb composition and depth of field. The lighting is very pleasing. Great picture!

    Gus, This is beautiful-your details are very nice as is your composition! Is this a parrot tulip? The colors are gorgeous!

    I applaud your skill. But then, you have been at it a while!!

    Beautiful imag, Gus. I do wish there was a sliver more at the bottom of the frame. Everything else is superb.

    Gus: This is simply gorgeous! I love the sharpeness of the center and the softness of the petals. The light is fabulous, as is the composition. Outstanding!

    Hey Gus,
    I may go with a hair more on the bottom....but it is stunning as presented! Lighting is very dramatic. Very, very nice!
