    Default Vincent Van Cadieux Accident

Dan Cadieux joined me on the hugely successful SW FLA IPT this past FEBR as co-leader. When I showed folks this image, most said, "Pretty cool. Nice COMP and I like the degree of blurring." I like it too. The fact, however, is that the camera took this picture without me pressing the shutter button; it was one of a series of mis-fires (much less costly than if I had been using film!) that featured the ground (o-o-f of course) and one of Dan's foot blurred.

    Man, you gotta love that.

Artur, It's incredible! The right amount of blur-the angle of the blur and the fact that Daniel was facing in the right direction for that angled blur is pretty amazing!

Agree. Now I have to try making some accidental bird images....

    Artie:

Your camera is so well trained, it is trying to do some work on its own!

Ha, that's great! I remember seeing this on your laptop. If I remember correctly this is full-frame too! (or very close to it). I must admit however that Michael's quote below has me worried that he hallucinates images of me after a few rounds...:)

That really is incredible. I don't think I've ever had my camera take its own image before!

This brings to mind the comment from someone at Ft. Desoto last week, "boy that camera must sure take good pictures."

Love this, you probably couldn't reproduce it without a lot of tries. Cool portrait.
