Best we call this a habitat behaviour shot else the HAP will be around to place you under arrest. The two OOF black lines in the foreground are making your bird look a little like a jailbird, looks like the sun was coming from the left - always best to try and have the sun behind you so that your subject is in even light - hard work in mixed light really need fill flash. Mr bird also looks like he has no legs which makes him look a little strange.

Sue I like your crop. The two OOF branches at the front are a bit distracting. A bit more of a head turn would have been better. Exposure looks good. Looking forward to more.
