    I found this sycamore frozen in a pond a month or two ago. I loved the scene but it was hard to capture because of the lighting and the highlights in the ice. Anyway, C and C welcome!

    Hey Mike, nice to see you post, very cool image. love the details and nice earthtones. I was out shooting some leaves in ice myself a few days ago, very fun stuff.

    Boy, I think you did as good a job as you could with this. The veins of the ice are really eye catching and you have minimized the reflection for the most part. I like the comp and the different levels of brown tones and you got me with all that texture going on.

    One suggestion would be to try to unmuddy the one area just to the lower right of the frame where the bubble is sitting. Might try playing with the sliders in the exposure adjustment to see if the gamut or offset sliders would clear that area up a bit more. Otherwise, I like it as presented. It does hold my eye!
