    Tripod low to ground

    She got very close as I was shooting Mergansers so I took her portrait- I warmed up the colors a bit-hope it's ok.

    does look nice, denise!! it's a little hot? could be toned down some? like the center placement here. seems to work really well!

    i think the second one is better. it has a nice feel to it. i may be rusty too!! it was the first comment i made in a while.

    I like the first one. Although I don't see that much of a difference. Great eye contact and head angle.

    This might be a matter of monitor calibration !!! Both are very close but If I had to pick one would go for the second !!! I like the tight portrait and sweet look !!! ... might even go tighter What I like best about the image is the face !!!

    Hi Denise - like teh second one better as well - think Id go a lot tighter and concentrate on the face more, Nice eye contact and like the BG. :)

    Like your final repost the best Denise, slightly darkened, and with a tighter crop. Love the quality of the light and the light hits the eye just right.
