This is an early morning light shot. When I saw the light at the sunrises I was looking for any bird to photograph, I just wanted to catch the awesome light. The quality of the light on my head is much better with the one capture here.

    1/1000, f7.1, ISO 400, 500mm

    C/C are welcome,
    Raul

    Raul:

Lovely light, perfect head angle, nicely exposed, pretty sharp.

Foreground a bit busy, but it is this birds habitat! I might clone out several of the grasses that go up towards the birds breast. I might also selectively sharpen the head and eye one more pass.

If you have the canvas, and its clean, I might add in just a bit more room to the right.

    Thanks for posting.

Raul, I like the pose and HA.-Looks a tiny bit tight. The lighting is beautiful! I also like the habitat included.

Great light, pose, and eye contact. The bird feels a little tight in the frame.
