    Default First Attempt HDR

I tried taking some photos the other day so I could try "Merging into HDR", not much color around right now...but soon I'll find other subjects...This image was taken along an old rail line, do you think it has the feel of HDR?....totally done in CS4 with saturation increased (yellows and reds). Used 3 images, taken with 1.5 EV difference.

Paul, I think this is a good first attempt-I think you said it yourself-there isn't much color around-which I think is why the red channel looks a bit pink to me-HDR images in my opinion are never really true to color they are (exaggerated)colors. So this could work! Looking forward to more-

It's close...I'm no expert on HDR but I wouldn't think it was an HDR if I saw it and didn't know. As Denise said, they tend to be quite sharp in color and also in texture. I like the image (except for the funky pink tone) maybe try to remix it with the channel mixer adjustment? Might help. Add a little sharpness as well - that's a classic HDR look.

Thanks ... I will make some of the changes, I punked up the reds just to get more color, guess I went a little overboard. Busy as heck at work...will play, some more soon...paul
