This is my first post on a critique forum. This image was made in the Everglades during a workshop with Fabs and Alfred Forns. We watched the nest for quite a while before Dad came into view with the fish. Mom and the two kids were eagerly waiting his arrival.
40D 300mm f4 with 1.4 TC ISO 400 f8 1/2000 hand held. This image represents a rather large crop and I added a bit of canvas to the bottom. Noise Ninja and the usual PS stuff done.
Since I am new at this, any advice would be appreciated.
A big warm welcome to the BPN family Gail...:) Glad to have you on board...This a very good first post...You have a good head angle with a clear sharp eye...I like the open wing position. You have good color rendition on your subject with sharp details in the feathers...the fish is a bonus, and it too has a good head angle...I like this very much...the baby blue sky compliments you subject quite well...you did well...congrats...and looking forward to seeing more of your work...:D Once again, welcome to the family...
