    Hey Maxis,
I'm in your neck of the wood right now with my tour(Venice...heading north)...and funny....I'm doing birds! Nice to see you doing more landscapes/seascapes.....they are working nicely for you! The sun placement is excellent and I like the simplicity. What really makes this image work for me is the play of colors between the ripples......very strong graphically...and it just has really sweet colors throughout! Is Robert creating a landscape monster? Very nicely done!

The FG ripples make the image. Remember to close down. No reason to make this at 1/8000 sec.

The ripples definitely make this image as they smooth out to "glass" at the horizon.

I never saw this and you say I was there :) ?

Superb - as already said its the ripples which are the star here but the rich tones and simple composition are excellent.

    Maxis,
Excellent image. I love the ripples and the pattern created. An aperture of f11 would have helped a lot.

    Cheers,
