    Shot this the other day...It's mating time and the geese were aggressive.
    Nikon D300 500mm lense
    F8 1/1250 ISO 800 -1/3 comp
    tripod mtd.

    I know that pose. Perfect choice of crop for this one. Exposure looks good..

    the head looks a little soft to me, but it may just be covered with water!

    It makes me smile.

    Hi Randy..thanks...yes, the head is wet since he just came up from the water. The males were going at it for quite awhile.

    Hi,

    I have to agree with Randy about the head looking soft. Interesting behavior. Not too crazy about the crop as looks a little tight in the frame. Just my opinion.
