    A common hummingbird all over Cuba, but endemic to that island. It would have been nice for the head to have been tilted a little more towards me, but this was the best angle and background I could get on this particular bird.

    Nikon D300, Nikon 80-400VR at 400mm., hand-held, 1/320 at f7.1, ISO 400, EV +1/3, balanced fill-flash with the on-camera flash.

    Hi there,

    I like the idea but the photoshop work is too obvious IMO. You can clearly see the "glow" effect around the bird. I would also remove some of the noise.

    Beautiful bird, but over flashed for my taste, and I do agree with Maxis, lots of post processing artifacts around the bird, and the sky also (at least it looks a bit funky, as they say)

    Keep them coming.
