    Shoted in Gran Canaria. For a little time I was the owner of a Tamron 200-400 f5.6D, and though it was manual focus on my D40, I think it was not a very bad lense....

    Jose:

    A pretty bird, nice composition, really like the ripples.

    The head is turned a bit away, and the shooting angle would be better, if lower, assuming the background would tolerate that!

    The water looks over saturated, but it can vary so much, hard to be sure. I don't know the true color of this birds legs to tell from that.

    I might try lightening the image just a bit.

    Hi Jose - Nice looking bird - A better head angle and a loer shooting angle woould have made all the difference here, not bad results from the tamron.
