    Default Common Goldeneye

A shot from earlier in the week, as the ice on the bay close to home has melted and the divers are back for zebra muscles. C&C welcomed.

Perfect wing position and eye contact. Nice blue BG and excellent sharpness. A little snug in the frame. I would try to tone down the whites a little.

    Love it !
Great wing position, good detail in the blacks, sharp throughout, and nice bg !

Might try to tone down the whites on the neck a bit.

Wow, this is an outstanding image! I love the pose and BG. Your details, sharpness and colors are right on. You might want to try a little Shadows and Highlights but go very lightly. Congratulations, you have a winner here!

Great flight pose and colors, except, as mentioned, for the whites. You can select that part in Color Range, place it in another layer use multiply as blending mode, adjusting the opacity until it looks natural.
I take you were using Av mode, that's the reason for such high shutter speed?

Thanks for the advice on toning down the whites, and yes I believe I was in AV mode for this shot.
