    Default Red-Shouldered in ENP

First one we ran into on Thurs. Looks like he got a garter snake.

    Thanks for looking, Paul

I'd be thrilled to find a Red-shouldered Hawk that had caught a snake......a really nice behavior image. The composition works well and you have a very sharp image.....especially the eye. Well done.

Hi Paul, Great image. Tack sharp. My only nit is that there is too much post for my taste. Cropping to square format works for me, but some folks don't care for it. I also used curves to darken the image very slightly. Just gives you a different perspective. :)

    God bless.....Dick

    Thanks Lana and Dick.

I already did a decent curves which seemed about right compared to the raw but a little more also looks good, now that the raw isn't here to compare. The light was flat so I pushed it but I do like the crop and a bit more curves.
