Of all photographs taken during the ICF Pro-Tour last year, this must have been my most nerve braking photoshoot. In these temperatures it was hardly impossible to photograph lizards. They are sooo fast. I shot a couple of hundred images of this little fellow, but non of them worked (not sharp, wrong pose)...and I remember being so happy when I finally got what I was looking for.

I think the pose works well with the twists and turns of the cracked mud. Good contrast too between his color and the mud. Well placed in the frame with him looking up and left getting him LR.

I like this. The texture of the mud and the position and the angle of its body makes this image.

I love the cracked earth here, it makes an interesting backdrop for your subject. I like the lizards pose and placement in the frame, but I would suggest burning the lizard and maybe give him a little more saturation as he looks a little washed out on my monitor. Good job on your composition here, I like it.

Excellent composition, full of texture and contrasting colors. Good eye.
