Really nice Glenn. Like the compo. Your flash technique is looking quite natural. Just out of curiosity, why only f/8?

Oh, wow. The whole setting and feel of the photo is just great.
The technical aspects are amazing. Why f8? Can you tell us what lens
are you using? The bird is... a dream!
Are you actually there right now?
    What's next? The Racket-tailed Puffleg?:)

    Good luck,

I checked your journal and I stand corrected.
You've got the Racked-tailed Puffleg already.
    Congratulations! Fantastic work!

WoW, you have created some amazing hummingbird images. I like how realistic they look compared to most that I have seen with the multiple flash setup. Keep up the good work!

Well done, Glenn. I like the diagonal comp, colours and the lighting is superb - especially like the light on the central cluster of leaves.

Beautiful composition Glenn and a well executed Hummingbird capture.
A little more light on the bird though would help it to pop out from the similar toned BG.

Hi, Glenn. I think this is a success all around. The dark tones are fine to me, and the composition, with the slight head turn is killer. My one wish would be that the lefthand flowers weren't obscured by that leaf, but that's pretty minor.

    Great work!

We could find hundreds of small nits for every single image...and some are mentioned...but that doesn't take away that this brilliant as it is. You're doing a great job out there Glenn! Stunning work.
