    Hi Guys,

This one is for Lana as she likes my Black-tailed Godwits so much....:)-
I took this shot last spring at one of my favourite places to shoot BTGW's and where around 500 of them gather in the late afternoon.

    Greetings,

    Jeroen Stel

Lovely tones in this image Jeroen, and the 2 pairs OOF on either side help to balance the composition. Well seen!

You sure know what brings a smile to my face......thanks!!! This one has such beautiful colors. I'm not usually one to like blurred birds in the BG but I think it works well with this one. There's a lot to see in this image......but you can view it at a leisurely pace.........very peaceful. Well done....as always.

Great composition and light. I might try to remove the dark band at the top.

Wonderful light and color. For my taste, I would prefer either no bg birds, or that they not be merged.

    Hi Guys,

    Thanks for your comments!
I agree on the band at the top wich is a little distracting, but do feel the merged birds in the BG help to balance and stimulate the composition.
To Alex: It's not so near to our homes, but i'll take you there next spring!

    Greetings,

    Jeroen Stel
