I looked down on this guy last week as he was poking about in the mudflats that were left at low tide. I liked this brief moment when he looked up at me and held his very long beak across his body. The image is cropped and contrast is employed pretty heavily. Is it too much? Enough? C&C, please.

    Hi Wendell,
I like the composition and capture...I do like the pose with the bill extended across his body...the contrast is a tad too much need to adjust it, also I recommend on desaturing the blue hues in the water slightly. looking forward to your next one...

Hi Wendell - Gus has pretty much nailed the techs - do like the pose, a lower angle would have put it over the top.
    :)
