Going through some older files and found this Buff-breasted Sandpiper from 2007. We don't see these here to often so it was nice to be able to get some images of such a beautiful shore bird.

Nice looking bird, with good light, complimentary background.
Wish the head angle was more our way. My guess is your focus point was on the body, as to my eye the back is sharper than the eye. Perhaps a bit of selective sharpening of the head.

In addition to the excellent critiques above you needed to point the camera a bit down (to give the feet more room) and a bit to the right--there is more room from the tail to the frame edge than from the bill tip to the frame edge....
