I'm usually not a fan of pan blurs, but I really like this one. The blurred BG and wings combined with the sharp(er) head make it for me. Cool stuff! Only wish for a better head/flight angle

I happen to like blurs. Well executed with the head sharp but I wish his feet were in focus more as well.

I'd be happy with this one. Nice work at 1/30 sec. I like how the bkgrd changes from dark to light.

    Sid:

I generally feel like Dan, not a fan of blurs, but this one conveys motion/activity very well. Good job on the pan.

Great shot, Sid. Amazing background, and maintaining a sharp head with the amount of body blur is tricky, but well done.

    Sid,
Spot on panning! Great shutter speed selection.
Sharp head, well exposed and using F22 increases the DOF which intensifies the feeling of speed when panning.
IMO the only thing that could improve this image is having the GBH flying parallel rather than away.
I love pan blurs and this is an eye catcher.
    James
