Hello, I'm just beginning my venture into the photography world and am very impressed with all the great pictures here. My question is about the Pro-Optic 500mm lens. Any good? I'm on a very tight budget, especial since I just got laid off from work. I own a EOS 20D with a Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III lens. I was wondering if the Pro-Optic would give me better photos but the price seems to be too good to be true.
By the , It will be for taking pictures of birds.Thank you in advance for any help.
Kyle, Judging from the price and the sample images on the Adorama page I would suggest that you would be better off flushing your money down the toilet bowl than purchasing the lens that you mention.
Either a used 400 f/5.6 or a used 100-400 would be light years better. You get exactly what you pay for.
