No, not in the wild, but in a very tame local park I found this stately pair of White Chinese Geese (had to look up that ID; please correct me if I'm wrong). They were strutting and honking their way across the lawn, intimidating other mild-mannered fowl of all kinds -- even I kept my distance. I cloned out a couple blurred ducks in the background, otherwise the image is full frame and sharpened only. Surprisingly, I don't think my whites are blown-out, even with my camera settings being what they were. Does it work? C&C, please.

Funny capture Wendell. Your exposure looks good, the whites look like they have a bit of blue colour cast. Brought a smile to my face!!!

Hi Wendell - whites look ok on my screen - do seem to have a slight blue cast. Little tight on the LHS - could use just a bit more room.

Dont know if these guys respond the same as over here - but take some food (Bread) they will be that close to you you will have to put your extension tubes on - makes it very easy to make them go were you wantthem to.
    Keep em coming :)

    Hi Wendell,
I like the action here...so are you telling us that these two are in essence the watch dogs of the park...:D Your whites are within range...I would give the a little room to the left side of the frame...and perhaps a lower capture angle if at all possible, but in this case, I don't think it was practical with these two...:D:cool:
