    Nice bird, minimal perch, smooth background. Good head turn.

    I would give it a bit more space to the left, and more on the right. If I had to guess, I would say focus was on the right wing rather than the eye, as it looks a bit sharper on the wing. f/8 should have covered that, but I would still recommend some more USM on the head/ eye.

    Light must have been pretty soft, and I think a touch more contrast might help the image pop a bit more.

    I like the head angle, soft light and BG. Is it a setup? I would give it more room and positive EC might have brought out more details in the shadows.
