I made this image last weekend while out with my dad and Philip Pietri. Everyone knows I enjoy a low, personal perspective. I like this image because the wing position is unique to other bathing images I've seen or made. I don't typically mash the shutter button, but when photographing a bird bathing getting 8fps with the D300 can capture some interesting wing positions.
Pretty danged sharp for manual focus. How do you do that??? EXP right on and lovely droplets and BKGR. What's not to like? See you this afternoon.
