The wing position is much better here ... and I love the way that eye just pops! Mine own eyes are drawn straight to it.

Excellent Denise - the eye attracts one immediately and the feather detail is sharp!

Very nice Denise, like the rim highlights and the BG. Nice underwing detail too. Was this much of a crop?, can't imagine having this much DOF at 5.6.

Jackie, I just took off some on sides for proportion-the 5D has more megapixels than the 40D and you get a better image when cropped,at least that is how I feel.

VG! looks pretty sharp throughout Denise. You were pretty close considering no crop factor.

Jackie, In Florida you can get pretty close-This was taken at Anhinga Trail the night I met Oscar and Alberto and some of the birds were flying right next to us! It was fun and good practice.

Denise, all I can say is WOW!. The backround is beautiful and as stated above, the rim light and that inceredible eye make this a real winner. Excellent image.

Hi Denise ... this is not a pancake :) Wings need to be straight out and sideways !!! I like it a lot and good focusing with the 5D !!!
