Beautiful evening--and this owl flew down right before I drove away--post not ideal--but not much to do about that!
I have had some issues with my posted images being oversaturated--so hopefull, I've got it fixed.

Thanks for the suggestions on the crop---repost--cropped the image slightly

    Bonnie:

A lovely little owl. The light was sweet, exposure looks just about perfect, complimentary background. The saturation looks fine to me. Great eye.

I would probably crop in some from the left, and up just a bit from the bottom.

That eye really grabbed by attention. The BG, pose, and grass are great. The post takes some away from your composition. I would suggest cropping from the bottom to eliminate that dark section on the lower part of the pole.

    Bonnie:

I think the recrop is just right. Cutting out the colored part of the post reduces its impact somewhat, and overall the bird is a bit more impressive, since its larger in the frame.

    Cheers

Beautiful light and details Bonnie! I would like to see it as a vertical as well.
