    I shot this the other day and had a great time with the company of moderators, Roman and Denise. We had great light and alot of bird activity.
    Nikon D300 500mm F/4 lense
    F/8 1/2500 sec -1/3 comp Tripod Mounted

    Dave:

    Sharp, very nice exposure, great wing position with lovely display of the primaries.

    In a perfect world,I wish the head had better seperation from the wing. A lower shooting angle might have helped, or if time allowed, a few steps to your left.

    I know how it is though when they flap, you don't have time to move!

    Dave, It was a pleasure to meet you yesterday! I love the exposure on this , the wing position is very nice and you've got good detail-nicely done!

    I love the detail and contrast in the feathers. I agree with Randy with regard to your position/bird's pose. You stopped the action nicely here, well done.
