Yesterday Robins and Cedar Waxwings descended on #2 Pyracantha bushes and stripped them in one afternoon.
Best fun was watching the more agile Waxwings angle to get the last berries.
This fun was terminated by a Sharp shin Hawk coming in for feast but missed.

I wish you had gone to maybe -1 1/2 or so on flash, to get just a bit more light on the birds head. As is, it tends to merge with the background a bit too much, esp. the bill.
If you can bring up the head a bit, I think it would add a lot.
I like it better. It is interesting, I am now on a different monitor, and even the original looks a bit lighter, but I still prefer the second, I think the change helps it stand out from the background. Will be curious to see what others think..
Good job Chas, I really like the Christmasy look this one has. I love your upside-down comp and green BG. The exposure, details, sharpness, and colors are good. I agree with your repost. You might want to do a little cleaning in the eye (If you look closely, you will notice small points of light radiating from the largest catchlight). I realize that I am getting picky on a minor detail but that was all that was left:D:D. Congratulations on your image.
