This is my rendition of chilled apples from the frige...:) The base image was modified by applying a plastic wrap filter, giving it a frosty cold effect...:cool:

Gus, nice tight crop and the colors on the apples are great! The plastic wrap really does make them look cold!!

Hye Gus,
This does have an interesting look to it with the plastic wrap.....and I think people are either going to like it ...or hate it(as is the case with most art)....I happen to like it......because the colors have a very painterly feel to them and the composition...with the stem in the ROT position....anchors the image nicely. My only recommendation is to either lighten the central dark area at the bottom....as it seems to draw the eye down.....or crop it out entirely (try it with the browser crop)......this seems to strengthen the image for me...but let's see what others chime in.

Hey Gus...This is an image where the plastic wrap works well. It adds another dimension to the image. I tried the crop that Roman mentioned and to my eye it works....The comp on this is quite good!

I like the effect, perspective and colours Gus. The only thing I am not too keen on is the plastic wrap outlining the apples on the edge. My .02 anyways. Marvelous DOF.
