    From Bosque at the Farm Loop, found some birds moving between fields and moving close to the cottonwoods. Went with a slow shutter speed to blur out the not too distant bg.

    Comments welcome and much appreciated

    Alfred...Agree with Denise about the backround color, blur and placement of the subject. A well handled image!

    Well composed and executed...the motion blur is superb...and the rich, bold color hues of the background makes your subject stand out...I like this...congrats...:cool:

    Way to go Al, this blur gives the impression of panic in the bird almost tells a story...head is just in focus enough....congrats

    Al, how do you manage to get the bird's head to be in focus when everything else is so nicely blurred? Any pointers for us?

    Yes how do you manage to get a sharp eye?? Lots of shots??? Love the colour of the BG and the whites on the bird look nice and white.
