funny. I sold my 5d when my 5d Mark II came in and the guy I sold it too, this happened a few weeks later. I forwarded the article to him to see if they reimburse him for the fix....

According what I read about the fix ...is that Canon has been aware of it for the past 2 years...BUT seems to have only made the fix available about to 2 weeks ago

since the 5d Mark II has the same problem with some bodies. People have posted 5d Mark II images about the mirror problem on some forums very recently!

I hope that the jerk who stole my 5D has the mirror fall out.........
