from bunche beach near ft myers, WEEKEND BEFORE LAST. you guys are getting tough!!!!

    D300, Bigma at 500mm, f/6.3, 1/3200s, 0EV, ISO 400

cropped a slither off the top and right for composition. sharpened bird and ran noise reduction on bg. darkened eye, bightened the catchlight, and lightened the area around the eye for a little more definition.

thanks for looking. comments and critiques appreciated.

    H:
I liked the way you defined the eye, usually with these guys you can hardly make out the eye.
    Congrats

Doctor, your diagnosis and prognosis is dead on...:D This is well composed and executed...The bird is placed just right in frame...you have very sharp details with a clear sharp eye and a good head angle...I like the complimentary background...well done Sir...

Mr H - very nice - expsoure looks good - love the pose and composition - well done.

One thing to keep in mind with the seaside shots - is the lines that waves create in the BG - not saying I don't like them - but they can be used to your advantge or dis-advantage (if ou are not aware)

    :)
