I had the honor of shooting with our very own Landscape Moderator Roman Kurywczak at one of the local ponds yesterday. I was shooting asst. ducks. when this gull got too close. I really liked the slate-blue BG,almost no PP.

Nice shot and colours Denise. Lovely BG and sharpness. Did a slight linear burn (10 percent) on the Highlights, don't know if it is an improvement or not. Tried to bring out more feather detail.

    Well done Lady Denise,
I like the soft, warm feel on this one. You have sharp details and very good color rendition...I like the close up pose...good show...

Sweet close up Soft complementing bg does it for me !!!

Didn't see anything out as far as whites but tweaks helped. Would also work on the bill and raise contrast a tad and could brighten the border around the eye.

Does look very good as presented and find it an appealing image !!

    Excellent,
The sharpness, especially the crystal clear
    eye is just fantastic.
