    I actually find the crop fairly compelling, because of the 90 degree angle between the wings, the nice position of the body. Excellent exposure and DOF. The only thing I might try is to brighten the eyes a bit.

    Increasing the saturation on the eyes and bill would really liven things up (the sponge tool set at about 8% works great for small local touch ups like this). Great oncoming flight shot!!

    The composition and incoming pose are very cool. I agree regarding raising the saturation.
