Great angle, head angle and exposure control. Could you post the complete techs?

I might have stopped down more for wider DOF.

The impact of the muffin is quite obvious. :)

This is a lovely image Dave. More than anything I like the simplicity of it. The pose including head angle is perfect. The only thing I would suggest trying is cropping a little snow off the bottom and adding some room to the top.

Nice!! I'll go halfway with John...keep all of the snow mound as is, but definitely add some canvas above :-) Nice for you to find some fresh, soft snow, alot of times at this time of year the melting snow is compacted hard and revealing all the dirty debris. Well done!

I love how the background complements the bird. My kind of shot, no nits here, just nicely done.

    :D ROTFL HAHAHAHAHA

And I agree with Axel's other comment as well....but would like to add in capitals that this is a beauty....great colours and exposure. The headturn is brilliant.

Love it! I especially like the soft color tint in the top portion of image. Not your typical composition of a Waxwing. Very nice!
