I originally set out to add alot of intense color to the water but as I started going thru color-efex -I got an idea to do a high-key look,re-worked it a bit and this is what I came up with. I liked how the reflection looks like his mouth is open.

I like this very much Lady Denise,
The high-key makes the gator pop out at you. I like the placement in frame utilizing the rule of 1/3 for the eye. well done...

    Hi my dear :)

I did what I though would a stronger crop, added black to the neutrals in Selective color and took away red saturation in Hue/Saturation, I saw some pink in the face, hope you like it.
Most of the time, when subjects are small in the frame, they look better closer to the corner.

Hey Denise...This works very well..The image is simple yet strong. You picked the right image to apply high key.
Fabs crop made the image even stronger. Good job!

Dave, The one thing I love most about this Forum is Fabs! She is right on the money and you couldn't get better advice-it's like having private instruction!!

So well seen, Denise! Fabs nailed the crop and the intensity but you sure saw an exciting way to bump up an image.

Nicely seen Denise. Like the repost by Fabs more in the corner and darker. It looks more menacing.
